Role: Two Temporary Housekeepers
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £20 per hour
Work Schedule: 3rd January 2026, 3pm-11pm
We are seeking two experienced Temporary Housekeepers to support a well-established private household in Reading for a high-profile occasion. Working alongside the permanent team, you will help ensure the home is presented to the highest possible standard, delivering seamless service with discretion, efficiency, and attention to detail throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the permanent housekeeping team
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and presentation of all interior spaces
- Assist with laundry, linen care, ironing, wardrobe management
- Ensure guest areas, reception rooms and bathrooms remain spotless throughout the day
- Support with table service, kitchen cleaning and clearing where needed
- Respond quickly and discreetly to requests from the family and guests
- Uphold complete confidentiality at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a luxury private household, boutique hotel, or similar high-end environment
- High level of attention to detail and housekeeping standards
- Friendly, professional and discreet
- Ability to work under pressure on a high-profile and busy day
- Must be reliable, punctual and polished in presentation
- Right to work in the UK
