Overview

A wonderful family living in the West Village seeks a fantastic long-term nanny to care for their infant daughter. The family will have a newborn care specialist until August, at which point the nanny will then take over (the start date is the last week in August). The general schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 50-60 hours per week- the exact schedule is not set, but will likely be 7:30am-6:30pm

Responsibilities

Care for an infant
Maintaining nap and feeding schedules
Working with Mom to coordinate meals, including baby food as the infant grows
Child and family-related laundry
Keeping rooms organized and tidy, and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas
Meal prep for Mom and Dad

Qualifications

Proactivity- the family is looking for someone who does not need to be micromanaged
Willingness to work with parents and make decisions as a team
Ability to balance maintaining schedule and boundaries with an easygoing environment
Reliable
Willing to help with household tasks

Requirements

Experience working in NYC as a nanny- the family is looking for someone comfortable and familiar with getting around the city with children
Experience working with an infant
Flexible for changes to the schedule as Mom returns to work and adjusts to the new baby
Experience working a 50-60 hour a week role

Salary and Benefits

$30-34/hr.
PTO and holidays
