I am confident in my ability to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the household and supervise a range of domestic staff, including butlers, chefs, housekeepers, maids, nannies, gardeners, and maintenance personnel.
With my background in qualified administration across various programs and apps, as well as experience as a project manager, I am adept at working in project-based environments. Attention to detail, excellent and effective time management, and solution-oriented skills are a few of the key attributes that make me an asset to your household and team. Here are a few things I can assist with:
- Training and coaching personnel to safely and efficiently perform their tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Serving as the primary contact for household members' requests and external companies, such as alarm agencies
- Overseeing and coaching dining room operations, including French wine service and glassware knowledge
- Service management and supervision
- Scheduling and supervising major maintenance and cleaning activities to minimise disruption in the household
- Supervising daily maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Participating in event planning and preparation for formal dinners, parties, and other gatherings
- Managing financial responsibilities such as paying bills, managing budgets, and making purchases (including wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages)
- Ensuring staff have the necessary work attire and equipment for daily tasks/events
- Maintaining checklists and instructions for all household activities and the Employees Handbook. If you are still using an offline version, I am happy to transition you to an online version.
- Organizing and conducting staff meetings, including fire and active shooter drills
- Preparing property reports for the Estate Manager/Family Office
- Addressing any staff inquiries regarding schedules, leave days, etc.
As an International Sommelier and Dining Room Manager, I can work with your butler and kitchen staff. I can recommend the perfect wine for dinner, manage the wine cellar, handle buying/selling, inventory management, wine tasting, service, and quality control. I work with wine, champagne, liquor, beer, cider, juice, water, tea, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages (including wine, beer, liquor, and cider).
