Hi! My name is Evonne. I am 27 years old. I live about an hour from San Francisco, California. My first language is English and my second language is Spanish. I have many years of experience working with children. I have worked as a nanny for 6 years all together. I have also worked as a teacher's assistant at a preschool and at an elementary school. From there I took the role as an after school program coordinator. I would say that I am very reliable, independent, and adaptable. Currently I am working as a nanny in Los Altos Hills, California. It started as a nanny share with 2 toddlers. Now I am only working for one of the family's. They now have 2 children. A 4 year old and 1 year old. I have been with them for 3 years now. However, I have decided to make a career change and I am starting a program, at the end of August, to become a project manager. I love working with children, I am just ready for a change.

I want to give the current family I work for notice that I will be leaving before the next school year starts and give them time to plan. So I am looking for a short term nanny position, preferably one that involves traveling. I have traveled twice with my current family. I have traveled to Vietnam for 3 weeks and I traveled with them to Aspen, Colorado for 1 week. My first time ever leaving the country was when I went to Vietnam and I took a 16 hour flight alone to meet the family a week into their trip. I feel like the trip went well and I myself am a planner. I am good at researching and planning daily outings if needed. I don't swim often but I know how to swim and I comfortable in the pool and watching the kids in the pool. I can make basic meals for the children. I love music, art, and outside walks. I love food and will try almost anything. I am not picky eater. I am a very clean and organized person, so I am happy to help pack and unpack. I am very detailed oriented. I would love the chance to travel with a family this summer before my program starts in the fall. I am ready to make it a fun summer for the kids but I am also focused on making the parents life easier while traveling.
