My name is Geoff Bone, 35 years old, this is my cover letter for your appraisal to consider me for work in the security industry, working as a Close Protection Operator and other related roles.

I hold a SIA Close Protection licence which is valid until February 2027, and have related qualifications in Intelligence Gathering and Analysis, First Aid, and Mental Health Awareness.

My current job role is as an Anti-Social Behaviour Warden, which is a uniformed role working from a security company, under contracted employment through the Wiltshire Police and Crime Commissioner. This is a public facing role, tackling anti-social behaviour in real time out in the community, engaging with the public and confronting nominal and violent offenders.

I previously worked for 8 years in Hampshire Police as a Police Officer, and worked on the Targeted Patrol Team, responding to 999 calls, dealing with a wide range of situations, and conducted pro-active patrols based on the most recent intelligence.

I am a capable and hardworking individual and am looking to put myself out there for work, and to improve on my network to help me carry out my role as a CPO. I am also always looking to expand on my knowledge through attending training seminars and keeping myself up to date with local and global events.
