I am seeking a private estate management position and consider I have the broad experience and personal attributes required for this job in Oxfordshire. I am a highly experienced Estate Manager with over ten years recent employment in both the private and public sectors.
I have extensive experience of managing colleagues, staff and contractors. I manage in a collaborative way often working alongside in a ‘hands-on’ manner. I have found that this approach builds loyalty, respect and high retention rates.
I am very experienced in property development and, working with my husband, have built several new houses and renovated farm buildings. We have worked as a ‘design and build’ team using contractors on a time and materials basis.
In my most recent job at Cognatum Estates, an upmarket provider of retirement housing, I managed compliances such as fire checks, lifts and stairs, electrical testing and legionnaires disease. I developed a COVID compliance process which was adopted by the company for all their estates. I managed several regular maintenance contracts covering machinery, sprinkler systems, lifts, staircases etc. Administration covered payments to contractors and non-payroll staff, and I provided a detailed financial report to head office every month.
I am fit, healthy and highly presentable.
