To whom it may concern,
I am a 58-year-old man and a teacher by trade. I have honed my skills as a specialist in bilingual education and second-language acquisition in quite a few international schools for the past two decades. While teaching, I grew increasingly aware of the importance of a balanced education whereby scholastic, emotional and physical aspects of a child's development are equally taken into account. I particularly relished the pastoral nature of my work and am currently looking for a role that combines pastoral care and education.
I am said to be trustworthy, personable and willing to do my best for the sake of the children/adolescents in my care. The rapport I am keen to establish with children and parents is one of trust as I believe it is conducive to harmony and professional fulfillment.
Should the family be amenable to considering a male candidate and a loyal individual, I will be happy to offer flexibility, considerable experience with the age group mentioned, a strong work ethic and, most importantly, the desire to help children/ adolescents blossom into well-balanced individuals.
