Dear Captain, Employer or Recruiter
I am a highly driven South African man with a burning passion for all things food. Super hard working with a heap of banter thrown in. I have been a yacht chef for a few years and have recently been taking on private chef gigs and freelance yacht gigs.
My focus is in cooking with the freshest ingredients I manage to get my hands on. I am absolutely obsessed with cooking with fire but equally love using higher end equipment too. I have been travelling since 19 years old and working while doing so. Under my belt is a large variety of types of cuisines adapting from traditional recipes obtained during my travels. I aim to impress with every single plate no matter how basic or complex. I love nothing more than seeing someone close their eyes and take a moment to enjoy that first bite of something mind-blowing.
Although I thrive cooking on my own and having my hand in every jar, I also love being in a tight knit team with other professionals looking to give the client the best possible experience every time. I enjoy interacting with clients (preference), but I am also open to working with clients that prefer not to interact too much.
