Overview
A professional family in SOHO, NYC are seeking an experienced newborn care specialist for their first child, who is almost 4-weeks-old. The role will start ASAP and the contract term will be 12-16 weeks, per the candidate’s preference. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from approximately 8am-6pm- the family is flexible on the exact start and end times. There is also a French bulldog in the home.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Implementing an effective sleep routine that the parents can follow once the term ends
- Providing practical tools, as well as general support and assistance
- Candidates should be willing to offer their professional advice and gentle guidance but ultimately respect the parents’ wishes
Qualifications
- Must have at least 5-8 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
- Candidates should be calm, gentle, and flexible
Requirements
- US passport, Green Card, or EAC
- Up to date on RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Must be CPR certified
- Must be pet friendly
