Overview
A lovely family based in Greenwich Village, NYC is seeking a weekend nanny for their three-year-old twins to start ASAP. The schedule would be Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7pm. During the non-Summer months, this can be a live-out position with an occasional need for a later evening or overnight on Saturdays. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the family relocates to the Hamptons, so the nanny would need to live-in Saturday and Sunday with them. The family will cover any cost for the nanny to get to the Hamptons, and this person could arrive Friday night to start work Saturday, if preferable.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities will include:
- Care and engagement of the twins in all aspects
- Prepping and feeding them meals
- Managing nap times and routines
- Engaging them at an age-appropriate level
- Keeping their laundry and spaces organized and clean (though laundry will be minimal because they have a full-time nanny Monday through Friday)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has;
- Strong experience with children of this age group
- Experience with twins or multiples would be a huge plus
- Warm and loving
- Easy-going
- Helpful
- Comfortable around a bigger extended family when in the Hampton's
Requirements
- You must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, TDAP, and MMR
- Should have confident swimming skills (or should be open to taking swim lessons funded by the family)
- Have a valid driver's license
- work in a home with a CAT
Salary and Benefits
The salary range offered is $40 to $45 per hour and the rate will reflect the experience and skill-set of the hired candidate.
