Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
A busy family in SoHo, NYC is looking for a professional full-time housekeeper. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm, but the ideal candidate will have some flexibility on hours, and will be available from time to time on an evening or Saturday. The family has 3 teenage children and a small dog. The home is a loft, consisting of 6-bedrooms and 6.5-bathrooms. This role would work in conjunction with the family's current full-time housekeeper.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Overall cleaning of the loft
- Vacuuming/dusting
- Cleaning the kitchen
- Deep-cleaning bathrooms
- Washing and ironing linens
- Making beds
- Laundry with particular attention to washing instructions
- Ironing clothing
- Maintaining organization of pantry and closets
- Assisting with care of small dog
Qualifications
- Team-player
- Honest, trustworthy, reliable
- Hard working- has a good work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible
Requirements
- Legal to work in US
- Proven longevity as a housekeeper with excellent references
- Experienced with ironing and laundering
- Experience with high-end finishes
- Able to live-in the Hamptons for 3 weeks each Summer
