Overview
A kind and loving family in Rye, NY is looking for a full-time nanny. Hours would be 8:30am through 5:30pm, Monday though Friday. The family have a three and a half year-old son and an 8-month-old son. The Japanese speaking Mother stays home with the children and the father works outside the home. They have a full-time housekeeper.
Responsibilities
- Provide all aspects of childcare while creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for son and baby
- Assist with the morning routine and driving son to and from school and additional activities; Japanese school, park, etc.
- The caregiver should practice common sense and take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
- They will also be required to maintain communication with the parents and work well with the Mother and as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and tidy area for children to play and learn inclusive of children's laundry
Qualifications
- Assist with meal and meal prep as time and ability allows
- Experience with two children under 4 years old
- Excellent references from current and previous employers
Requirements
- Legal to work in US
- Native English speaking
- Ability to swim
- Valid and clean Driver's license
Salary and Benefits
$35-$40/hr with some benefits
