An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and animal-loving Housekeeper to join an UHNW household near Chipping Norton. This is a secondary residence for the family, who are in part-time residence throughout the year.
The focus of the role is pet care, with two much-loved dogs requiring daily attention, walks, companionship and overnight care when the principals are away. Alongside this, the housekeeper will be responsible for the upkeep of the 5-bedroom property to a high standard, ensuring it is always guest-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Full care of the family’s two dogs, including feeding, walking, grooming, and overnight care when needed
- Hands-on daily housekeeping and cleaning
- Deep cleaning during unoccupied periods
- Laundry and ironing (including fine fabrics)
- Managing household supplies and liaising with contractors as required
- Security of the property when the principals are away
Skills and Attributes Required
- Previous experience in a similar live-in private household role
- Confident and caring with dogs
- Reliable, discreet, and self-motivated
- Happy to work alone and take full responsibility for the property and pets
- Flexible to adapt to the family’s schedule
- A driving licence is essential due to the rural location
