The property blends historic charm with contemporary luxury, creating a destination known for outstanding hospitality, destination dining, spa retreats, weddings and corporate events, all set within beautifully landscaped grounds that emphasise relaxation, wellbeing and memorable guest experiences.
The Head Chef will lead the culinary vision across a distinctive, multi-experience food and beverage offering within the property. A vibrant all-day restaurant, presenting an Italian-American inspired menu that evolves seamlessly from relaxed daytime dining into a more refined evening service.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
- Develop and deliver seasonal menus for the all-day restaurant, Afternoon Tea and bar food offering.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including preparation, service, stock control and ordering.
- Lead, train and inspire the kitchen brigade to maintain a motivated and high-performing team.
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Manage food costs, labour and kitchen budgets to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
- Drive creativity and continuous improvement across all culinary offerings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience leading high-end kitchens and managing skilled teams.
- Expertise in Italian-American cuisine, fine dining, and elevated Afternoon Tea.
- Strong culinary creativity with excellent presentation skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and budget management.
- Ability to deliver consistent quality under pressure and drive innovation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with front-of-house teams.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
