Overview
Urgently seeking a fabulous newborn care specialist for a gorgeous 5 week-old boy in Fort Greene. Ideally the successful candidate can start immediately and can stay with the family until June 2026. The schedule will vary slightly but the hope is for support a couple of nights per week, a couple of days per week and then occasional extra hours when needed, adding up to a total of 40hrs per week guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and supporting healthy sleep habits, using a gentle and nurturing approach
- Assisting with evening/night routine
- Cleaning and sanitizing feeding equipment
- Baby-related laundry
- Working closely with Mum to advise and guide, but remaining attuned to baby's needs and Mum's preferences at all times
Requirements
- Calm, gentle and nurturing presence
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take direction and align with parenting preferences
- Highly trustworthy
- Organized, self-sufficient, and proactive
- Flexible around hours
- Loving nature, able to really support and advocate for Mum and baby
Salary and Benefits
- From $35/hr, depending on experience
