A warm, active Key Biscayne family seeks a reliable, experienced, energetic live-in Nanny/Family Assistant to start ASAP. Full-time, Monday–Friday role supporting three school-aged kids (13, 9, 5) at different schools. Ideal candidate: attentive childcare, expert handling of school logistics/transportation/activities, family coordination, and light child-related household help. Occasional solo care during parents’ travel + summer travel support required. Top priority: genuinely organized and diligent—show us specific systems/routines you’ve used for complex multi-kid schedules (e.g., custom checklists, color-coding, backup plans). Schedule: Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour days, with flexibility for school schedules and occasional earlier/later starts as needed)Weekends and evenings off (unless rare travel or special circumstances) Live-in arrangement: Private room and board included
Primary Responsibilities
- Childcare & Daily Care — Provide nurturing, engaged care for children ages 13, 9, and 5.
- Ensure their safety, well-being, and positive development. Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals/snacks (focus on balanced, active-lifestyle options). Assist with homework, educational activities, and age-appropriate engagement.\
- School & Logistics Management — Handle school drop-offs, pick-ups, and transportation to/from three different schools (driving required). Coordinate schedules, extracurricular activities, appointments, and any after-school needs. Manage daily family logistics with smart, proactive planning.
- Solo Care During Travel — Stay with the children independently when parents travel (occasional, advance notice provided). Maintain routines, handle emergencies calmly, and communicate updates to parents.
- Summer & Travel Support — Assist with summer schedules and family travel (healthy, athletic, and active lifestyle preferred for engaging activities and outings).
- Light Household Support — Collaborate with parents and the live-in housekeeper on child-related tasks (e.g., children’s laundry, tidying play/school areas). Run errands as needed (groceries, supplies).
- General — Maintain open, positive communication with parents. Be proactive, organized, and adaptable in a busy household.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license + clean driving record (vehicle provided for work use)
- Current U.S. passport (for potential family travel)
- Prior experience as a nanny, family assistant, or in childcare/logistics (references required)
- Comfortable with live-in arrangement and occasional solo overnight/weekend-adjacent care
- Athletic, energetic, and smart/organized for managing multiple schedules and travel
- Educated and mature approach to child development and family coordination
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive, patient, trustworthy personality with strong references
