We are supporting a private household in Tokyo in their search for a new, experienced Housekeeper to join their team, with a salary on offer of ¥4,000,000-¥5,000,000 per year
Job description
This role requires candidates who are able to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within the residence.
You will work closely with the other household staff to ensure the home is immaculate at all times and maintain a well-organised, and smoothly run, home.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall cleanliness and order of the residence to an exceptional standard
- Daily and deep cleaning of living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Laundry care, including washing, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe organisation
- Proper care of furnishings, artwork, and delicate materials
- Ensure household supplies are well stocked and organised
- Coordinate with other household staff as required
- Follow household routines, preferences, and special instructions
- Report maintenance or repair needs promptly
- Respect privacy and confidentiality at all times
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private household or luxury hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry care, and household organisation
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work independently and follow established household routines
- Understanding of English is highly beneficial
- Flexible approach to working hours when required
