With luxury guest rooms, landscaped grounds, and a variety of flexible event spaces, it caters to both leisure and business travellers.
The destination also highlights premium guest experiences, including a bar and grill, afternoon tea, spa days, and celebration packages. Blending heritage charm with modern comfort, it is ideal for romantic getaways, corporate events, weddings, and relaxing breaks in Yorkshire.
They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Head Chef.
Role Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the kitchen, leading the brigade, shaping exceptional menus, and delivering unforgettable guest dining experiences across all areas of the venue.
- Ensure that every dish meets the highest quality standards, from sourcing ingredients to executing service.
- Behind the scenes, you’ll lead on inventory control, kitchen maintenance, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- You’ll inspire, coach, and grow your team, collaborate with front-of-house leaders, and help drive commercial performance through accurate forecasting and strong GP control.
Candidate Requirements:
- You bring exceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of seasonal ingredients, flavour, and presentation.
- You can design menus that are both exciting and profitable.
- You’ve developed and led high-performing teams and know how to inspire excellence at all levels.
- Whether in the kitchen or across departments, your leadership is clear, motivating, and collaborative.
- You stay calm under pressure and adjust quickly to fast-changing service demands.
- You manage time, tasks, and team performance with precision and a high level of organisation.
- You’re experienced in managing kitchen budgets, achieving key KPIs, and controlling food costs.
- You understand food safety and legislative requirements, including HACCP, and ensure all standards are exceeded.
