Overview and Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and professional Spanish-speaking Rota Nanny to join a fully staffed private household based in Gibraltar. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established childcare team, supporting the care and development of two young children aged 6 months and 2 years.

Job Description
This is a rota position working alongside other nannies within a well-organised household team. The family residence is fully staffed, and the childcare team works closely together to ensure seamless care and consistency for the children.
You will be responsible for all nursery duties and child-related tasks during your rotation, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment at all times. The role involves travelling internationally with the family, requiring flexibility, organisation, and confidence in managing children in different settings.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, high-quality care for two children (6 months and 2 years)
- Manage all daily childcare routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and sleep schedules
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, stimulating activities to support development
- Maintain nursery standards, including the organisation of children’s spaces
- Travel internationally with the family and manage all child-related travel logistics
- Work collaboratively with the existing nanny team to ensure consistency in care and routines
- Support emotional well-being and create a warm, secure environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and household staff
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ professional nanny experience, ideally with infants and toddlers
- Previous rota nanny experience is highly desirable
- Spanish fluency essential; good level of English required
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Confident traveller with a valid European passport
- Flexible, adaptable, and highly organised
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to problem-solve independently
