We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the smooth running of a private household. The primary focus of this role is maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, and confident working in a family home with children present. This is a temporary 2-week placement from 26th June to 12th July.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping (Primary Focus)
- Daily cleaning of all living areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal spaces
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linens and replenishing household supplies
- Tidying, organising, and maintaining a clutter-free environment
- Light meal preparation and kitchen upkeep
- Running occasional household errands, such as grocery shopping or dry cleaning
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience within a private household
- Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Basic cooking skills
- A valid enhanced DBS certificate is essential

- Location: Between Witney and Oxford (Eynsham)
- Salary: £20–£25 per hour
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5/6pm
