Overview
A warm and inviting family on Cape Cod is seeking a full-time live-in nanny to help care for their one-year-old daughter. The family is based on Cape Cod, but will travel quite a bit, both domestically and internationally, so the nanny should enjoy travel! The schedule for this role is 40 hours guaranteed, with some flexibility for extra hours and overnights if needed. The ideal candidate is experienced, trustworthy, and adaptable, has a level of sophistication, with a calm, warm presence, and the ability to integrate smoothly into their family life. This position will start at the end of June and will end in April 2027 when the family will permanently relocate overseas.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare, including sleep, feeding, and hygiene routines
- Baby laundry, and keeping the baby's areas tidy
- Plan fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities in various locations
- Maintain and help coordinate the baby's routine and day-to-day schedule
- Packing and keeping the baby's things organized during travel
- Child-related organization
- Child-related meal preparation
Qualifications
- Familiar and comfortable with working long hours if needed
- Laid back and relaxed
- Warm and nurturing
- Clear communicator, able to work as a team with involved parents
- Childhood development knowledge
Requirements
- Recent experience with children of a similar age
- Fully available to travel domestically and internationally with the family for extended periods of time
- US work authorization
- Driver's license and clean record
- Scent-free - no fragrances, scented lotions, scented laundry detergent, perfumes, etc.
- Health and eco-conscious
- French speaking would be ideal but is NOT required
Salary and Benefits
