They are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, exceptional presentation, and outstanding guest satisfaction across the entire property. Job Description
As Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of a large housekeeping department within a busy five-star hotel. You will lead, motivate, and develop a sizeable team to consistently deliver exceptional standards throughout all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Working closely with senior management and other departments, you will ensure operational excellence while managing departmental budgets, staffing levels, compliance, and service quality. This hands-on leadership role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain the highest luxury hospitality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the housekeeping department to deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Inspire, coach, train, and develop a large housekeeping team.
- Ensure luxury brand standards and quality expectations are consistently achieved.
- Develop, implement, and monitor housekeeping procedures and operational best practices.
- Manage departmental budgets, payroll, labour costs, and operating expenses.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Respond effectively to guest feedback and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Produce operational reports and analyse performance data to improve efficiency.
- Support hotel audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with all hotel departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeping Manager within a luxury five-star hotel.
- Proven experience managing and developing large housekeeping teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing departmental budgets and controlling operational costs.
- Ability to analyse reports and use data to drive improvements.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Positive, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
