A lovely family of four in Primrose Hill is looking for a reliable, confident and capable Part-Time Cook/Housekeeper to join their household from Monday to Friday.
The main focus of the role will be cooking and kitchen-related duties, preparing healthy, fresh and nutritious family dinners for two adults and two children. The ideal candidate will be a confident home cook who enjoys preparing wholesome meals and is happy to plan and organise the evening meal.
Alongside cooking, there will be some light housekeeping and household organisation. The family already has a cleaner, so this is not a full housekeeping role; rather, they are looking for someone who can keep on top of the day-to-day tidying, laundry and general household organisation.
There may also be occasional school collection for their 9-year-old child. The school is approximately a 10-minute walk from the family home.
Duties will include:
- Preparing healthy, fresh and nutritious family dinners
- General kitchen duties, including keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Meal planning and occasional grocery shopping/food preparation
- Keeping on top of household tidying and organisation
- Laundry and putting clothes away
- Helping to keep the home running smoothly between the cleaner's visits
- Occasional school collection for the 9-year-old, when required
- Being proactive and noticing what needs doing around the home
The ideal candidate:
- Is a confident and capable cook, with an interest in healthy family food
- Has previous experience working in a private household
- Is organised, reliable and proactive
- Takes pride in keeping a home tidy and well organised
- Is happy to help with both cooking and light housekeeping
- Is warm and comfortable around children
- Has good attention to detail and can work independently
