On behalf of our private UHNW client, we are seeking an experienced, highly organised and flexible candidate to join a fully staffed private household.
This is a true live-in position and is not a shift-based role.
The successful candidate will work as part of the household team throughout the day and evening, with appropriate breaks during the day, and will generally finish when the family retires for the evening.
The Principal also travels and there will be more down time when she is away.
Working hours: Full time 6 days per week with one weekday off
Accommodation: private, separate accommodation within the residence
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily housekeeping and upkeep of the residence to an exceptional standard.
- Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms and family areas.
- Making beds and maintaining bedrooms throughout the day.
- Wardrobe organisation and general clothing care.
- Laundry, ironing and garment care as required.
- Regular deep cleaning and attention to detail throughout the property.
- Ensuring rooms are continuously tidy, presentable and ready for use.
- Assisting with household service and family requirements when needed.
- Supporting preparation before and after guests and events at the residence.
- Working closely and collaboratively with the other housekeeper and wider household team.
- Remaining flexible to the changing day-to-day requirements of the family and household.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong previous experience as a live-in housekeeper within a high-end private household.
- Excellent housekeeping and cleaning standards.
- Highly organised, discreet, energetic and proactive.
- Flexible and comfortable working within a household where finishing times depend on the family’s schedule.
- Team-oriented with a positive, hands-on attitude.
- Good English and the right to work in the UK are essential.
Salary: £50-55k gross DOE
