The Opportunity
A private family in Lyndhurst is seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Live-Out Housekeeper to help maintain a beautiful, clean, organised and welcoming family home.
The household consists of two adults and two children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has exceptionally high standards and enjoys creating a home that looks and feels its very best.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a natural appreciation for cleanliness, organisation and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
- Carrying out regular cleaning and periodic deep cleans.
- Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothes away neatly.
- Cleaning internal windows, mirrors and glass surfaces.
- Keeping rooms, surfaces and household items neat, tidy and beautifully presented.
- Ensuring bathrooms, kitchens and other living areas meet high standards of hygiene.
- Identifying areas that need attention and taking the initiative to keep the home looking its best.
- Maintaining an organised and aesthetically pleasing living environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous housekeeping experience within a private household.
- Have an exceptionally good eye for detail and take pride in achieving outstanding results.
- Enjoy making spaces look beautiful, organised and aesthetically pleasing.
- Have high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
- Be proactive, organised, trustworthy and reliable, with the ability to work independently.
- Have a neat and tidy personal appearance.
Hours and Benefits
- Permanent position with ideally three full working days per week.
- Approximately 25 hours per week, with up to 40 hours potentially available for the right person.
- Option to be engaged on an employed or self-employed basis.
