Overview
A lovely family of four living in New Cannan, CT is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny for their two children, ages 6 and 2.
The ideal schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 pm – 8pm (plus potential for overtime with advance notice). The family is open to more hours on Saturday or Sunday. 40 Guaranteed Hours. (Exact hours slightly flexible). The family needs a candidate with the willingness to travel during family vacations and to stay with children on overnights (several dates need to be cross checked before hire).
Responsibilities
Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the children’s development and well-being.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals, prepare bottles, and assist with feeding according to the children’s needs and routines.
Organize and engage children in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play.
Plan and facilitate educational activities, arts and crafts, and outings that encourage learning, creativity, and social development.
Safely transport children to scheduled activities, appointments, and playdates as needed.
Read to the children and encourage language development, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Keep children’s bedrooms, playroom, toys, and play areas clean, tidy, and organized.
Maintain daily logs of the children’s activities, meals, naps, and routines, and provide parents with regular updates and photos.
Assist with occasional family-related errands as requested.

Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Clean and valid driver's license and a car (milage and gas will be covered)
- Willingness to travel occasionally

Salary and Benefits
The family is offering a competitive hourly rate of $45/hr- $60/ hr depending on experience and qualifications, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
