Overview
A family of three in the West Village, NYC is seeking a reliable and experienced live-out nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old son. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am-7:30pm. There may be days with a 12pm start. The position is looking to hire immediately!
Responsibilities
- All childcare duties
- Taking the child to/from school
- Play-dates and activities
- Cooking and meal prep
- Cleaning up- tidying up toys, doing child laundry, and keeping his play areas clean
- Help maintain daily routines, including meals, naps, and bedtime
- Daily updates on activities, meals, and overall well-being will be expected
Qualifications
- Warm and engaging
- Organized
- A strong understanding of toddler development and safety
- Traveling, as needed on vacations or to other properties
- Driving is a plus, not required!
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Must be able to swim
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Flexibility
- Strong communication skills
- Fully vaccinated
- Speaking a second language is a plus
- Prior experience with toddler-aged boys and infants
