Overview
A wonderful family in Menlo Park, CA is seeking an immediate NCS to join them for the next six months. The role will begin asap or by the end of February. The child is six months old and needs to be sleep trained, as he is not sleeping through the evenings. The schedule will be 20 hours a day. Once the child is sleeping, the role should have a lot of downtime while he sleeps! The live-in accommodations will be a private bedroom and bathroom. The NCS must be confident and have prior experience with sleeping training an older child. The household is quiet and low-key so the candidate should be able to keep to themselves and not be chatty. There are other nannies in the home, so must work well on a team. Immediate hire!
Responsibilities
- Must be confident in sleep training a six month old boy
- All aspects of childcare duties for a six month old
- Flexibility to travel, as needed
Qualifications
- Warm, loving, and be able to blend in with the family
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus!
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Prior success sleep training an older child
- Prior NCS experience
- Passport ready to travel
- Flexibility is key!
- Team player mentality
- Up-to-date with all vaccines (e.g., TDAP, flu, COVID, and subsequent boosters).
Salary and Benefits
The family is open on a rate starting at $700/day and up. This is a six-month contract.
