Overview
A wonderful and kind individual in Chelsea, NY is seeking a part-time laundress/housekeeper to tend to the laundry and home organization. The general schedule will be working two or three times a week for 5 hours a day, the individual is flexible which days. This is a 2700 square feet home with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms.
Responsibilities
- Washing, drying, and maintenance of clothing, linens, and other textiles
- Separate any dry-cleaning items, and prepare for pick up, and log items going out and returned
- Ironing, steaming and dry cleaning clothes; being able to tell what each fabric needs
- Closet, and household organization
- General tidying up around the house, putting items back in their place
- Rotate wardrobe seasonally or when requested, label and store appropriately
- Deep cleaning of the home and general help around the house

- Willingness to pitch in with additional household duties would be a plus
