Overview
A family of three, recently relocated to Chelsea, NY, is seeking a live-out nanny/housekeeper to care for their 2-year-old daughter and assist with household duties on weekends.
The typical schedule is 10am-6pm on Saturday, with possibly fewer hours on Sunday. The family has a 3-bedroom, 2,000 sq ft apartment.
This role starts at the end of February/beginning of March.
Responsibilities
Nanny Responsibilities:
- Organize activities and classes when required
- Prepare dinner and snacks for the child
- Ensure the child's safety at all times
- Occasional babysitting
Housekeeping responsibilities:
- General light housekeeping (the family has a separate person come and deep clean the home)
- Daily laundry
- Meal prep for the parents
- Load/empty the dishwasher
Qualifications
- The family speak French in the home, it is not a requirement but would be a plus
- Organize fun activities, and have a playful side
- Looking for longevity with their family
- Flexibility to travel with the parents if desired
Requirements
- Excellent communicator
- Should have experience of working with children of this age
- Be available for babysitting
- Take the initiative and be proactive
