Overview
A sweet young family in Venice, CA, is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their four-month-old child. The schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, 10-12 hours per day, with flexibility for overnights or travel as needed. The family is open to live-in or live-out, and the accommodations will be a separate guest house on the property.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare for the child, including managing sleep and feeding schedules
- Handling baby laundry and maintaining organization of the baby's spaces
- Keeping on top of baby supplies, and making necessary purchases
- Creating an engaging environment and providing developmentally appropriate enrichment daily
- Researching classes and making sure the baby gets out for social and educational outings
- Packing for travel and planning outings in all locations

- Comfortable working with involved parents, and with full-charge care as needed
- Warm and nurturing
- Flexible and organized-able to keep structure while going with the flow in a dynamic environment
- Educated and sophisticated; focused on childhood development and fostering diverse interests and skills

Requirements
- Recent experience with infant and toddler-aged children
- The ability to swim and supervise children in the pool and ocean
- Experience working with a staff
- Ability/willingness to travel domestically and internationally multiple times per year for extended periods
- Previous travel experience with families
- Driver's license and clean driving record
Salary and Benefits
- $35-40/hr. DOE
