Overview
A lovely family in the Battery Park area of NYC is seeking a live-out nanny to start ASAP for their two children, a newborn born March and a toddler. The schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, with 50 hours guaranteed between 8am-7pm. As they adjust to life with two under two, hours may decrease to 8am-6pm in the fall if preferred.
Responsibilities
- Full childcare of two sweet children. The nanny must be able to confidently care for two under two!
- Enrichment in and outside the home, monitoring and encouragement of milestones, and partnering with mom and dad to collaboratively ensure the best care for the children

Qualifications
- Warm, patient, and nurturing nature
- Proactive and energetic to get the children out of the house as they grow. The family would appreciate a nanny who researches the newest classes and activities, joins play groups, and encourages the children to be social.
- Safety conscious and has good judgment (encourage the child to explore but let parents know if there are any injuries or accidents)
- High attention to detail and excellent communicator
- Easily go with the flow and okay with last minute changes especially with children close in age!
- Someone with a degree or training in education, early childhood development, or psychology OR classroom experience
Requirements
- Willing to take the train or drive to their house in East Hampton for a few weeks over July and August. The nanny will live-in Monday-Thursday with private bedroom. Weekends will be optional/as needed
