Overview
A loving family of three in North Fork, NY, is seeking a full-time nanny to join their family in caring for their 3.5-year-old daughter. The child will be starting preschool in the fall, three days a week. The schedule would be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12pm-8/9pm and Tuesday and Thursday 9/10am-5/6pm. Starting time would depend if the parents need to go to NYC or are working from home that day. It would be a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The family prefers a local candidate already living or one at a commutable distance to North Fork. The family has a spare bedroom where the nanny could also stay one or two nights a week, if needed. The position is looking to hire immediately.
Responsibilities
- Daily childcare of a toddler
- Playtime and playdates
- Engaging and hitting all milestones
- Meal prep and cooking for the child
- Tidying up after the child
- Keeping the child's playroom and areas tidy and organized
- Child's laundry
- Overseeing rest time
Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Prior childcare experience with toddlers
- Active and energy to keep up with an energetic toddler
- Clean and valid driver's license
- An early childhood education or teaching background is a plus
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering a rate of $40/hr plus paid time off.
