Overview
A warm and welcoming private family in Istanbul, Turkey, seeks a kind, professional, and experienced live-in nanny to support a hands-on mother caring for her 9-month-old baby girl. This is not a sole-charge position; the nanny will work closely with the mother in a respectful, fully involved caregiving environment. The usual schedule will be 8-10 hrs per day, 6 days per week, with scope for an extra afternoon off each week if preferred. The family would love the nanny to start asap.
Responsibilities
This is a fully staffed household; the nanny’s focus will be solely on the baby and support for the mother:
- Assist the mother with all aspects of baby care
- Provide stimulating, age-appropriate activities and play
- Maintain cleanliness of nursery and baby’s items
- Accompany the mother on outings or appointments as needed
- Light mealtime cleanup (especially on weekends)
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a career nanny with a calm, nurturing presence and a collaborative mindset. The family values adaptability, clear communication, and a strong understanding of infant care and development.
- 5+ years professional childcare experience
- Fluent English speaker
- Non-smoker
- Paediatric First Aid & Infant CPR (valid certification)
- Being able to travel to USA, UK, Europe
- Ideally candidates should be confident in the water, although don't need to be very strong swimmers!
Salary and Benefits
- €5000 pcm net
- Private ensuite room on a separate floor
