Overview
A family in Greenwich is seeking a loving and reliable part-time nanny to support care for their 16-month-old son. The family already has a full-time nanny and is looking to add an additional 15–20 hours of coverage per week with flexibility. Ideal for someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers and is looking to join a warm, respectful household. They are seeking a start date of August 18th.
Schedule:
- 15–20 hours/week (flexible)
- Example: Monday 2-6pm, Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday 7am-12pm with occasional longer days or weekend
- Some weekend or evening availability for date nights is a plus
Responsibilities
- Primary focus: keeping the toddler safe, happy, well-fed, and engaged
- Diapering, feeding, and nap-time routines
- Creating engaging developmentally appropriate activities
- Light child-related tasks during naps (baby laundry, tidying, simple meal prep)
- Bonus if candidate also speaks Armenian, Swedish, or Russian but not required
Requirements
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- Non-smoker
- Childhood vaccinations and receives annual flu vaccine
Salary and Benefits
- $30–$35/hr depending on experience
- 3 PTO days
- 2 sick/personal days
