Overview
A wonderful growing family in Bedford, New Hampshire, is seeking an experienced nanny for their 15-month-old son. Mom is pregnant and due in December, and initially her focus will be on the infant. However, infant support will be required. Mom is very hands-on and works from home. The ideal candidate will provide support for the children’s growth in a loving, warm, and nurturing manner. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. The family is seeking a long-term arrangement and is offering relocation assistance and nearby housing.
Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- Full charge care, including meal plan, prep, feeding, bathing, diapering
- Encourage developmental learning and age-appropriate milestones
- Drive to/from activities
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment
- Engage in outdoor play and encourage curiosity
- Proactively plan indoor and outdoor activities
- Research local age-appropriate classes or fun things to do in the community
- Child-related housekeeping/tidying up. Pitching in to help with small household tasks, such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, is not required, but would be a plus
- Support daily routines and transitions
- Update parents throughout the day with photos and texts
- Ability to travel and work additional hours would be a plus

Requirements
- Pet friendly – Family has a Labrador
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be a confident swimmer – Family has a pool
- CPR certified
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering a compensation rate of $35 per hour, negotiable DOE. Housing accommodations may be provided for candidates relocating outside of the area as part of a relocation package (not available for local applicants). The position includes PTO and medical insurance.
