- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, typically 8am–5pm
- Our client, a private family with a beautiful 400-acre estate in the Cotswolds near Wotton-under-Edge, is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household team.
This is a live-out, full-time role suited to an experienced individual who takes pride in their work, is highly organised, and can maintain the highest housekeeping standards in a luxury private residence. The estate includes formal gardens, lakes, and woodlands, offering a unique and serene working environment.
Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping and upkeep of the main residence to a consistently high standard
- Laundry and wardrobe management, with knowledge of caring for delicate and high-end fabrics
- Silver polishing and care of fine items
- Occasional cooking as required
- Supervising contractors on-site when necessary
- Assisting the House and Estate Manager with ad-hoc duties
- Pet sitting on occasion
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a private household or luxury environment
- Strong eye for detail, organisation, and discretion
- Confident working independently and proactively
- Positive, adaptable, and motivated personality
- Comfortable working with pets when required
Package on Offer
- Competitive salary of £40,000 per annum
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
