Overview
A discreet, very private family seeks a fantastic weekend nanny/housekeeper to support and mentor an 11yr old boy. The schedule will likely be Friday from 4pm-9pm, and then Saturday and Sunday from 8am-8pm.
Responsibilities
- General care and encouragement for the young boy
- Accompanying him out around London
- Engaging with his interests and preferences
- Light housekeeping relating to the child
- Keeping the kitchen and communal areas clean, tidy and organised where possible
- Limiting screen time and developing alternative activities
- Maintaining a nurturing, calm environment in the home
Requirements
- Candidates must be gentle, kind and considerate
- Prior experience in a high net worth environment is essential
- As is working as part of a fully-staffed household and alongside other nannies, housekeepers etc
- Service-orientated approach to the role
- Active, fun and engaging personality while also able to read the room and know when to step back
- Previous experience working with pre-teen children
- Dog-friendly
- Able to engage with children in a non-confrontational way
- Brilliant at being consistently loving and respectful while able to set gentle boundaries
