Overview
A loving family on the Upper East Side is seeking a part-time nanny for their 5-year-old. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 3pm- 7pm. They are looking for someone who might be able to take on some additional hours if they'd like, once their new baby arrives in June.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include;
- Providing after-school care, including school pick-ups, transportation to activities, and creating enriching, educational experiences
- Engaging the child in developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities
- Preparing simple, healthy, kid-friendly meals as needed (culinary skills not required- just a willingness to help)
Qualifications
- Highly intelligent, resourceful, and organized
- Background in childhood education or a passion for child development is strongly preferred
- A natural multitasker who can anticipate needs and take initiative
- Flexible, discreet, and professional with a positive, can-do attitude
