We are seeking an experienced and hands on House Manager to lead and inspire the Front of House and Kitchen teams. You will be the welcoming presence that defines the guest experience, ensuring every moment, from arrival to departure, is warm, seamless, and memorable.
As House Manager, you will take pride in upholding impeccable standards, attention to detail, and a calm, confident approach to hospitality. You’ll work closely with your teams to foster a culture of excellence, ensuring service flows effortlessly across all areas, from relaxed breakfasts and intimate dinners to those quiet, special moments that make each stay unforgettable.
In this key leadership role, you will help to develop and embed service standards, systems, and operational processes across multiple sites, empowering your teams to collaborate effectively and deliver an exceptional guest experience. From a genuine Highland welcome to the final farewell, you’ll ensure every guest leaves with lasting memories of warmth, authenticity, and understated luxury.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the Front of House and Kitchen teams, promoting operational excellence and a seamless guest experience.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training to develop high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Serve as a key guest touchpoint, ensuring warm, knowledgeable, and personalised interactions throughout the guest stay.
- Maintain and inspect properties regularly to ensure consistent adherence to service standards, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with Reservations and Finance teams to implement guest preferences, manage budgets, procurement, and supply chains, and support financial target delivery.
- Promote team health, safety, and wellbeing, and build strong relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and the wider community while representing the company professionally.
