Overview
A family in Long Island is seeking a weekend live-in nanny to provide dedicated care for their 6-year-old son with autism, who is non-verbal. This is a live-in role, and the nanny must be comfortable with a true 24/7 mentality while on duty. The primary focus is on their 6-year-old, who is very sweet, smart, and engaging. The child has food allergies, so the candidate must be highly attentive and confident in managing dietary safety.
The household is exceptionally clean, organized, and highly sterile. The ideal candidate must excel in hygiene, structure, and child-related upkeep. The family values professionalism, common sense, a strong understanding of development, emotional stability, high energy, and excellent communication. Both relocation and local candidates will be considered. Long-term experience is essential — the family will not consider candidates with less than two years of experience.
Please note: Public transportation may not be used to travel to work.
