We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Housekeeper to support the day-to-day running of a private household in the Burford area, maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.
Key duties (including but not limited to):
- General housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard throughout the home
- Laundry care (washing, ironing/steaming, and occasional hand-washing)
- Tidying, organising and maintaining household areas day-to-day
- Refreshing rooms as needed (e.g., bed linen changes, restocking essentials)
- Kitchen upkeep and keeping household spaces neat and hygienic
- Occasional errands and receiving deliveries
- Supporting the household with ad-hoc tasks as required
Skills & requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a private household or similar environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do approach
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Discreet, trustworthy and professional
- Driver preferred
Hours: 5 days per week (some weekend work may be required on a rota basis)
Salary: Circa £45,000 gross per annum
