Overview
A wonderful, busy family of four in the West Village is seeking a part-time housekeeper. The schedule will ideally be Monday through Friday, 5-6 hours per day. The home is 3,000 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. They are seeking someone who can take ownership of household operations.
Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping and organization of a 3‑bedroom, 4‑bathroom home
- Laundry, ironing, and general tidying/organization
- Take ownership of the home- let the family know what they are missing and keep the household running
- Know which products to use on floors vs on counters
- Not shrinking clothes and knowledge of clothing
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in private, high-level households
- Knowledge of fabrics. Must be able to read clothing labels
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
- $40/hr
- Paid vacation day and sick days
