Overview
A professional, mature, single woman is seeking a full-time live-in personal care assistant/housekeeper help her with day-to-day tasks. The schedule will be Monday afternoons through Friday afternoons with downtime during the days. The candidate must be comfortable working in both the Upper West Side apartment and the Bridgehampton residence. The position is ideal for someone who seeks long-term job security in a congenial environment, as part of a home-based professional team.
Responsibilities
Basic duties will include, but are not limited to
- Daily upkeep of the home, including her laundry and linens. She lives alone, and the home is immaculate, with a weekend housekeeper as well. There should be daily maintenance and upkeep rather than intensive cleaning.
- Running errands
- Assisting the principal with her daily routine
- Keeping her company,
- Driving her to various appointments
- General housekeeping/tidying
- Reheating meals or light cooking if the chef is out that day.
- For now, the role does not include any hygiene care for the principal, but it may evolve in the future based on her needs.
Qualifications
- Most important, is that the person take pride in their work.
- Must work well with others- there is a long-term existing team in place in this home
- Discretion and a small foot print is important in this home
Requirements
- Skilled driving both in and out of the city is required.
- Must be able to live-in Monday through Friday
- Must have experience in a similar role
Salary and Benefits
- Salary is commensurate with experience and health insurance is provided.
- Pay starts around $100k and DOE
