Overview
A TriBeCa based family of three is in search of a live-in nanny to join their team. This nanny would cover three 14 hour days and need to do 2 overnights. The exact schedule will be discussed with qualified candidates. This family has had the same nanny for years and are looking for another unicorn.
Responsibilities
- A-Z childcare
- Making sure the child gets to and from all activities
- Oversee afternoon, homework and bedtime routines while parents travel
- Keep the home tidy- there is a housekeeper who will handle deep cleaning, but the goal is for the nanny to help keep their home generally tidy and organized
- Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the family
- Light housekeeping and laundry for the family
- Kitchen maintenance
- Help to grocery shop or handle other family errands
Qualifications
- Caring, warm, small foot print
- Responsible and able to run the ship while parents travel
- Patient
- Takes initiative/proactive and able to step in where needed without having to be asked
- Can prioritize their children's care while at work and help maintain a schedule and routine
Requirements
- Ability to live-in 2/3 days
- Able to drive in the city
- Looking for a long-term commitment
Salary and Benefits
- $35-$40 per hour plus benefits
