Overview
A couple with a loft in SoHo is seeking a housekeeper for 1 day a week (Tuesdays) for 8 hours a day or possibly someone for 4 hours a day 2 days a week (with one of those days being a Tuesday). Ideally, they prefer just 1 day a week on Tuesdays. The loft is an open layout of 2500 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They are a tidy couple with 2 small dogs (a Japanese Spitz who sheds and a small golden-doodle). Start is now.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning
- Mopping the floors
- Dusting
- Laundry
- Run errands (dry cleaners, for example)
- Calling a vendor if something is needing to be done/repaired around the home if needed
- They have glass/stone in the home and fragile wood floors so understanding delicate objects and materials is needed for this role
- Changing sheets and towels weekly
- Taking the dogs to grooming appointments if needed
Requirements
- Good command of the English language in order to communicate well with one another
- A personality type that is more relaxed, yet professional. Being a loud presence or overbearing wouldn't work for their home dynamic of being more lowkey
Salary and Benefits
- $45-55/hour
- No benefits because it's a very part-time role
