Achieve Hospitality is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious, independent property in a beautiful coastal setting. Renowned for its warm hospitality, attention to detail, and bespoke guest experiences, the venue offers luxury dining and accommodation in a breathtaking location.
We are seeking an experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead a small, high-performing team. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day FOH operations, ensure exceptional service standards, and deliver an outstanding guest experience across all areas of the property. This role requires strong hospitality leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support a close-knit team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily FOH operations, ensuring smooth service across restaurant, bar, and events, maintaining the castle’s high hospitality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate FOH staff, providing training on service procedures, etiquette, and upselling techniques.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, promptly handling complaints and VIP requests to deliver a personal, memorable experience.
- Assist with staff scheduling, rotas, and shift management to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain SOPs, service standards, and health & safety compliance, including food hygiene and allergen protocols.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, events, and housekeeping teams to optimize service flow and guest experience.
- Support inventory management, stock rotation, and reporting for FOH supplies, including beverages and dining equipment.
- Act as a role model on the floor during service, providing hands-on support during busy periods and special events.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in front of house supervision or restaurant management, ideally in luxury, boutique, or high-volume hospitality settings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and develop staff.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with experience handling complaints, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene, and allergen compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in service delivery.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and special events, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
