Overview
A private and kind family is seeking an experienced, organized and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper to maintain and manage an 8,500 sq. ft. home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Moderate flexibility is required for the position as schedules are subject to changes to accommodate for pet care while the family is traveling. The candidate is required to work occasional evenings and weekends, when needed.
Candidate must be experienced in working in fine homes and be able to demonstrate skills in all aspects of household cleaning, laundry and ironing, organization, and vendor/project management. The candidate must love animals, as the family has a cat and a dog. The home's culture is informal; however, expectations for quality service and efficiency are high.
Responsibilities
- Interior housekeeping duties (areas include a kitchen, pantry, dining room, family room, living room, bar, game room, office, loft, gym, (4) bedrooms, (8) bathrooms, lanai, (2) laundry rooms & (2) garages).
- Exterior maintenance duties (clearing walkways, driveway & decks of debris/leaves, maintain exterior furniture, etc.).
- Occasional overnights with the pets (up-to 15 nights per year).
- Assist with pet care (1 cat & 1 dog): feeding, walking, grooming, appointments, vet appointments, cat litter, etc.
- Household maintenance projects (changing air filters, cleaning light fixtures, descaling appliances, etc.).
- Assist with household organization projects as needed (closets, storage, laundry rooms, cleaning equipment closets, etc.)
- Assist the PA as needed with supervising vendors performing work at the residence.
- Laundry (includes sorting, washing, hanging, steaming, pressing, and putting away). The candidate has knowledge of fine clothing care.
- Occasional simple meal prep
- Manage dry cleaning - keep inventory and inspect clothing upon return.
- Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements to the Personal Assistant.
- Caretaking of the property when the family is out of town or on vacation to watch over the residence.

Requirements
- This is a smoke-free household. Applicants must be non-smokers and refrain from the use of tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products during work hours or prior to arrival if odor is present
- Must be able to read and write English
- Smart home and technology savvy

- Clean driving record.
- Confidentiality is important. Must sign an NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement) and pass a drug test and background check.
