Overview
A busy, welcoming family in Notting Hill, London seek a fabulous live-in Spanish-speaking (ideally) housekeeper who can start towards the end of May. The usual schedule will be 7am-12pm and 6pm-9pm, Monday through Friday. The family normally spend their weekends elsewhere, however please be flexible to accommodate occasional longer hours or weekend work if the family remain in residence.
Responsibilities
- Beds, tidying, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and organising
- Changing linens every 3 days
- Laundry and ironing
- Making lists of missing supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Light grocery shopping
- Family breakfast and helping with the morning routine
Requirements
- A good level of fitness - the home has 5 flights of stairs!
- Discreet, flexible and calm personality
- Impressive attention to detail
- Comfortable around children
- Positive, can-do attitude, able to work equally well as part of a team, or independently
- Plenty of previous high-end housekeeping experience
- Excellent references
- Initiative and self-motivation with a positive, can-do approach
Salary and Benefits
- Accommodation is an ensuite double bedroom within the main house (with a separate entrance and separate staff kitchen/ living room). A staff kitchen/living room is available to be used by all staff members
