A private family of four is seeking a Temporary Laundress to join their fully staffed residence in Central Milan for the next 2-3 weeks, starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete laundry service: washing, ironing, steaming, and pressing
- Expert care of luxury fabrics such as couture pieces, cashmere, silks, wools, and fine linens
- Shoe and leather cleaning, care, and polishing
- Minor garment repairs and alterations (e.g., hemming, seams, buttons)
- Packing and unpacking for travel
- Seasonal wardrobe organization and maintenance
- Hand-washing delicate items
- Coordination of dry cleaning and professional garment repair services
- Collaboration with other members of the housekeeping team as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a private household, luxury hotel, or yacht
- Expertise in using professional laundry equipment, including: Miele FashionMaster (Miele B 4847 with steamer), Miele Rotary Iron (Stiratrice Miele B)
- Strong attention to detail and garment care knowledge
Working Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours per day with 1 hour break
Salary: flexible hourly rate
